- Yes — every airline in this set publishes a free personal item on typical fares. Size limits differ; confirm on the airline page.
- Which airlines charge for a full-size carry-on?
- Carry-on is paid or fare-dependent on United Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Allegiant Air, Sun Country Airlines, Avelo Airlines, and Breeze Airways. The others publish a free carry-on on all or most fares — including some Basic-style tickets.
- How much is a first checked bag?
- Only when the airline publishes a typical domestic amount. For Frontier Airlines, Allegiant Air, Sun Country Airlines, and Breeze Airways, prices are dynamic or route-priced — we do not invent a dollar. Open the airline page and the carrier’s own calculator or booking path.
- Why don’t you list a Frontier (or similar) carry-on dollar amount?
- Those carriers publish dynamic or route-priced bags. A blog table would be an invented number. Use Dynamic — see airline page, then the carrier’s live bag price tool.
- Does Basic Economy include a carry-on?
- It depends on the airline. Delta, American, JetBlue, Southwest, Alaska, and Hawaiian publish a free carry-on on their basic/restricted fares. United Basic Economy on most domestic routes is personal-item only. ULCC-style carriers often sell the overhead bag. Confirm on the airline page for your ticket.
