On Frontier, a personal item is free on every fare. A full-size carry-on is paid on Basic and Standard and included on Economy, Premium, and Business. Checked bags use a standard 62 linear inch and 40 lb allowance, with prices that vary: usually cheapest online at booking, higher at the airport, and highest at the gate. • Always free: personal item (18 × 14 × 8 in) under the seat.
• Basic and Standard: carry-on and checked bags are paid (price varies).
• Economy: carry-on included; checked still usually paid unless purchased.
• Premium: carry-on and Board First; checked bags are paid separately.
• Business: carry-on and two checked bags up to 50 lb each (per Frontier’s current Business bag messaging).
• Military: 1 personal item, 1 carry-on and 2 checked bags free when eligible.

1. Gate bag fees are often much higher than at booking. The same carry-on or checked bag can cost more when you wait until the airport or gate, so buy early online.

3. Hard limits: bags of 100 lb or more or over 110 linear inches are not accepted.
