On Avelo, a personal item is free on every reservation. A full-size carry-on is PAID: Avelo’s published range for new reservations is $52 to $75 per person, each way. Checked bags are standard up to 62 linear inches and 50 lb, with fees from $47 to $75 on Optional Services (new reservations); prepay when you first book for the best price. Published overweight and oversize add-ons are fixed: $100 extra for overweight, $100 extra for oversize, $200 extra for both. Published overweight and oversize fees

Keep the variable bag prices (carry-on $52 to $75, checked $47 to $75 on new reservations) separate from these published overweight and oversize add-ons. Bags over 70 lb or over 80 in are not accepted (except the assistive device and discretionary exceptions noted above).

• Always free: one personal item within 17 × 13 × 9 in under the seat.
• Base reservation: carry-on and checked bags are paid Optional Services (low-cost, à la carte pricing).
• Active-duty military (ID): 1 carry-on and up to 2 checked bags free; embargo: some flights limit this to 1 checked bag, so check your itinerary.
• Avelo PLUS ($99 a year; first year $59 listed): member fare perks; a bag fee waiver is not confirmed on Optional Services, so check the terms and conditions before counting on one.
• Optional Services lists à la carte bag add-ons; check the current product names there.
