Hold bag for one flight only: a hold bag added online applies to all flights on the booking. For one direction only, use separate bookings or buy that flight’s hold bag at bag drop (hold luggage page).

easyJet holidays: press and help pages have long noted a 23 kg hold bag per person on holiday packages. Check your holiday booking; it isn’t the same as a Standard flight-only fare.

Gotchas

  • There is no single online £ price for hold or large cabin bags. Prices always depend on route and date.

  • £60 twice: at the gate (cabin bag into the hold) and at bag drop (unbooked hold bag up to 23 kg). Same figure, different desks.

  • Inclusive Plus already has the large cabin bag and a 23 kg hold bag, so there is no need to buy them again.

  • Buy online at least 2 hours before departure; the airport costs more.

  • Pooling is allowed on the same booking (unlike British Airways). Still a 32 kg hard cap per bag.

  • Cannot pool hold weight with sports equipment.

  • 15 kg cabin on both cabin pieces. Not unlimited.
