Condor Cabin Bag Size (2026)

Condor's 55 × 40 × 23 cm trolley (8 kg in Economy) is free on Light, Classic, Green and Flex, and from €9.99 on Zero. The 40 × 30 × 15 cm small bag is free.

Quick answer

On Condor, every fare includes a small bag (kleine Tasche) max 40 × 30 × 15 cm under the seat. A larger cabin trolley (Handgepäck) max 55 × 40 × 23 cm is included on Economy Light, Economy Classic, Economy Green, and Economy Flex (Economy: 8 kg total cabin allowance on those fares when one trolley is included). On Economy Zero, the trolley is not included. You can add it from €9.99 (short and medium-haul, Zones 1, 2 and 6, until 3 hours before departure), from €29.99 (Zones 3 to 5, long-haul), or from €19.99 (Zone 7, UAE) on Condor’s official German and EU carry-on tables. Premium cabin weight is 10 kg; Business allows up to two cabin pieces at 16 kg total (single piece max 10 kg). Converted inches (Condor’s UK English page also prints some): 55 × 40 × 23 cm is about 21.6 × 15.7 × 9.0 in; 40 × 30 × 15 cm is about 15.7 × 11.8 × 5.9 in. Centimeters are the official figures; inches are conversions unless Condor’s English pages print them.

Light versus Zero: Condor’s short and medium-haul FAQ says Economy Zero replaced Economy Light on short and medium-haul from April 2, 2025; Economy Light continues on new domestic flights within Germany (and still appears on the city short-haul and Zones 1, 2 and 6 Handgepäck tables). Both fare names are still sold, on different routes. Check which fare is printed on your ticket.
Classic and Flex note: Cabin trolley is included on Classic, Green, and Flex at the same 8 kg Economy cabin weight. Flex buys flexibility to rebook or cancel, not a heavier Handgepäck.
Zero note: Zero means the small bag (kleine Tasche) only unless you buy Handgepäck.

Gotchas

  • Zero does not include a trolley. Free piece is the 40 × 30 × 15 small bag.

  • Light still exists on domestic German flights and some city routes and includes the trolley. Light is not the same as Zero, which includes only the small bag.

  • Sizes changed on May 1, 2026. Current sizes are 55 × 40 × 23 and 40 × 30 × 15, not the old 20 cm and 10 cm depths.

  • 8 kg is the Economy cabin total on most Light, Classic, Green, Flex rows, and on Zero when the trolley is added. Weigh before the airport.

  • In Business, a single piece is at most 10 kg even when the total is 16 kg.

  • Zone and currency: the German and EU pages print starting prices in €; the UK English page prints them in £. Use the currency printed for your booking market; don’t convert with a guessed exchange rate.

  • Airport excess for an oversize or extra cabin bag depends on the zone (€75 or €100), costlier than an advance Zero add-on. Some EU Carry-On lines show 110 US dollars for Zones 3 and 4 while the German Übergepäck page shows 120 US dollars; check the Condor site for the country where you booked.

  • An overhead bin reservation is not an extra bag. Fare still controls piece count.

  • Partner flights, such as those operated by Marabu Airlines, may differ. Condor’s additional baggage FAQ mentions Marabu; check the operating carrier.

  • Infants under 2: no Handgepäck entitlement under the standard adult rules.

  • Some Condor English fare descriptions print max 6 kg for the personal item while Handgepäck totals are 8, 10 and 16 kg; treat the 6 kg figure with caution until those pages agree, and weigh to your fare’s published total.

  • Zero long-haul cutoffs can differ between Condor’s country sites (for example 3 hours or 8 hours); check the Condor site for the country where you booked.

Does Condor Economy Zero include a cabin trolley (Handgepäck)?
No. Zero includes the small bag only. Add the 55 × 40 × 23 piece online from €9.99 (short and medium-haul), €19.99 (Zone 7), or €29.99 (Zones 3 to 5) on Condor’s German and EU tables, or pay the higher airport excess fee if you arrive without it.

Does Condor Economy Classic or Flex include a cabin bag?
Yes. Classic, Green, and Flex include one Handgepäck 55 × 40 × 23 cm at 8 kg (Economy), plus the small bag. Flex does not raise cabin weight compared with Classic on the Handgepäck tables.

What about Condor Economy Light Handgepäck?
Where Light is still sold (officially it continues on new domestic flights within Germany and is also listed on the Zones 1, 2 and 6 carry-on tables), Light includes one trolley at 8 kg plus the small bag, unlike Zero. Confirm the fare on your ticket.
