Condor Cabin Bag Size (2026)
Condor Handgepäck: 55×40×23 cm trolley (8 kg Economy). Free on Classic/Green/Flex/Light; Zero = paid from €9.99. Small bag 40×30×15 free. Verified 2026-09-17.
Quick answer
On Condor, every fare includes a small bag (kleine Tasche) max 40 × 30 × 15 cm under the seat. A larger Handgepäck / cabin trolley max 55 × 40 × 23 cm is included on Economy Light, Economy Classic, Economy Green, and Economy Flex (Economy: 8 kg total cabin allowance on those fares when one trolley is included). On Economy Zero, the trolley is not included. You can add it from €9.99 (short/medium / Zones 1–2 & 6, until 3 hours before departure), from €29.99 (Zones 3–5 long-haul), or from €19.99 (Zone 7 / UAE) on official DE/EU carry-on tables opened 2026-09-17. Premium cabin weight is 10 kg; Business allows up to two cabin pieces at 16 kg total (single piece max 10 kg). If you exceed allowance, airport/gate fees apply by zone (e.g. Zones 1/2/6 €75 / US$90). Confirm live on condor.com; zone and currency can differ on EN-GB (£ floors).
Size note (current as of 2026-09-17): Official pages publish the 1 May 2026 upsizing: cabin 55 × 40 × 23 cm (was 55 × 40 × 20 until 30 Apr 2026); small bag 40 × 30 × 15 cm (was 40 × 30 × 10). Use post–May 2026 dims as current for travel from that date.

Converted inches (Condor EN-GB also prints some): 55×40×23 cm ≈ 21.6 × 15.7 × 9.0 in; 40×30×15 cm ≈ 15.7 × 11.8 × 5.9 in. Prefer cm; inches OK when labeled official EN conversion.
Wheels / handles: Condor tables publish max outer dimensions. Measure the packed bag. Condor does not publish a “wheels excluded” rule on Handgepäck pages opened today.

Light vs Zero: Official short/medium FAQ: Economy Zero replaced Economy Light on short and medium-haul from 2 Apr 2025; Economy Light continues on new domestic flights within Germany (and still appears on city short-haul / Zones 1–2/6 Handgepäck tables). Both names remain live on different route sets. Check which fare is printed on your ticket.
Classic / Flex trap: Cabin trolley is included on Classic, Green, and Flex at the same 8 kg Economy cabin weight. Flex buys rebook/cancel flexibility, not a heavier Handgepäck.
Zero trap: Zero means kleine Tasche only unless you buy Handgepäck.
Gotchas
- Zero ≠ trolley. Free piece is the 40 × 30 × 15 small bag.
- Light still exists on domestic DE / some city routes and includes the trolley. Light is not the same as Zero’s small-bag-only rule.
- Dims changed 1 May 2026. Current sizes are 55×40×23 / 40×30×15, not the old 20 cm / 10 cm depth.
- 8 kg is the Economy cabin total on most Light/Classic/Green/Flex/Zero-with-trolley rows. Weigh before the airport.
- Business single piece ≤ 10 kg even when total is 16 kg.
- Zone + currency: DE/EU € floors vs EN-GB £ floors. Publish both as printed; do not invent FX.
- Airport excess for oversize/extra cabin is zone-based (€75 / €100 bands), dearer than an advance Zero add-on.
- Overhead bin reservation ≠ extra bag. Fare still controls piece count.
- Partner / Marabu (DI) segments may differ. Condor’s additional-baggage FAQ mentions Marabu DI; check the operating carrier.
- Infants < 2: no Handgepäck entitlement on standard adult rules.
Traveler caution: Check your fare name on the booking. Zero is small-bag only; Classic, Green, Flex, and Light include the 55 by 40 by 23 trolley at 8 kg in Economy. Confirm sizes and live add-on prices on condor.com before you fly.

Current official trolley max: 55 × 40 × 23 cm. Small bag (kleine Tasche): 40 × 30 × 15 cm. Economy cabin weight is typically 8 kg when one trolley is included; Premium 10 kg; Business 16 kg total (max 10 kg per piece). Pages opened 2026-09-17.
Does Condor Economy Zero include Handgepäck / a cabin trolley?
No. Zero includes the small bag only. Add the 55 × 40 × 23 piece online from €9.99 (short/medium), €19.99 (Zone 7), or €29.99 (Zones 3–5) on DE/EU tables, or pay higher airport excess if you arrive without it.

What about Condor Economy Light Handgepäck?
Where Light is still sold (official: continues on new domestic Germany flights; also listed on Zones 1–2/6 carry-on tables), Light includes one trolley at 8 kg plus the small bag, unlike Zero. Confirm the fare on your ticket.
